Art as the written word, the written word as art. The world we live in often separates these two aspects of the human imagination.The written word often comes second to visual art in the eyes of many viewers. As a child, I was deeply affected by the emotional impact that both written and visual art could have in the form of movies, novels, installations, paintings, books, poems, etc. Now, as a current student in my second year of college, my goal is to pursue a degree that will allow me to truly blur the lines between the written art and the visual one. My interests in creative writing, film production, and art history blend to create something that I hope is as special to you as it is to me. My hope is that my written work can be as beautiful and nuanced as a painting, and that my visual work will tell a story more in depth than many novels. My goal is that by seeing and experiencing my work, my audience will be inspired to start creating art of their own, and nourish their creative spark.
